Step 1: Design & Mold Development
Every great zinc alloy handle starts with a design. Our engineers work with clients to create 2D and 3D models. Then, we develop high-precision molds for die casting. Because we own our mold-making department, we can produce complex shapes, custom logos, and fine surface details without outsourcing delays.
Step 2: Die Casting
Using 300T die-casting machines, we inject molten zinc alloy into molds under high pressure. This process ensures consistent density, smooth surfaces, and exact dimensions. Zinc alloy’s fluidity allows us to create thin walls, intricate patterns, and lightweight yet strong handles.
Step 3: Trimming, Machining & Polishing
After casting, excess material is trimmed. We then use CNC machining and stamping (125T presses) for holes, threads, or flat surfaces. Next comes polishing — a critical step for achieving a mirror-like or satin finish.
Step 4: Surface Treatment
LiFan Hardware offers multiple finishes: electroplating (chrome, nickel, brass, black), painting, and electro-swimming (e-coating). These treatments prevent oxidation and add aesthetic value.
Step 5: Quality Control & Packaging
Every batch of zinc alloy handles is inspected under ISO9001 guidelines. We check dimensions, finish adhesion, corrosion resistance, and pull strength. Finally, handles are carefully packed to avoid scratches during shipping.
